I have never been good at keeping track of my time. I always meant to get a stop watch to figure it out. I spend about 2.5 weeks on portraits like these... about a week longer than when I was working on suede or velour. This paper is more labor intensive. I like that I can get more details in... but the time....! When I get that stop watch I will let everyone know how much time I put into them.
When you get that stop watch, you'll probably not want to know how many hours you spend LOL! I can see it's a labor of love and if you're like me, time loses all meaning while working on any of your paintings!
This is awesome! How many hours do you end up putting into something this size? I've yet to attempt anything bigger than 9 x 12!
